I originally created this for my own use and then showed it to Malibu
and they wanted it for they Sunset Social website.
Must apologise, this version is a bit flakey, I fixed alot of bugs in
the final version for Malibu, but this was basically where
the idea came from.
I modeled and animated the turntables in Maya renderd with Mental Ray
and Final Gather.
This was also the precursor the Image Sequencer script which became
a pretty major part of the Malibu site.
Sorry, for the noise - you'll have to hit stop first thing when it
loads... but after that hitting play will keep the two soundfiles in
sync. Then you can use the slider to crossfade between the two sound
clips. Thank-you to Blockhead for the sound samples.
You can also put the stylus on and off the record player... I was going
to make this mute and unmute the sound, like an actual turntable. Maybe
one day...
